We create seven distinct steels
Damasteel® combines the ancient knowledge of pattern welding with modern powder metallurgy to produce premium Damascus steel renowned for its exceptional performance, durability, and striking appearance. By blending centuries-old craftsmanship with advanced steel technology, Damasteel creates stainless Damascus steel that offers outstanding edge retention, corrosion resistance, strength, and toughness for the world’s finest knives, edged tools, and custom applications.
Our product range includes seven high-performance steel alloys, all manufactured to the highest quality standards and maintained in our extensive inventory for fast availability. Six of these alloys feature patterns that create unique, visually stunning designs while delivering superior mechanical properties.
The seventh alloy, RWL34™, is our premium non-patterned stainless steel, engineered specifically for high-performance edge tools. Known for its excellent hardness, exceptional edge retention, outstanding polishability, and corrosion resistance, RWL34™ is the preferred choice for custom knifemakers, manufacturers, and craftsmen seeking uncompromising cutting performance.
