“Léas” 155mm Crescent Bunka

“Léas” means “shimmer” or “glimmer” in Irish, and this finish reminds me of shimmering rays of light reaching into a void.  Forged from Dense Twist round bar, then processed with a multiple stage etch/grind to achieve that shimmering, reaching pattern in the dense twist layers.  My goal with this knife was to create subtle yet strong contrast with every material and processing decision, and really let the steel sing.  I hope you sing while you cook sometimes too!
