Since early 1995, Damasteel® has been a pioneer in steel innovation. Founded by Pelle Billgren and inspired by master blacksmith Kay Embretsen, we transformed the industry with our patented stainless Damascus-patterned steel. Our journey began in a small workshop in Söderfors, where we merged traditional craftsmanship with advanced powder metallurgy.
Fast forward 30 years, and we’ve grown from a small workshop to a globally recognized brand. Our steel, known for its beauty, strength, and functionality, is a favourite among top knifemakers and artisans worldwide. We’ve always pushed the limits, creating new patterns and expanding our reach.
