DAMASTEEL CHEF KNIFE HUGIN PATTERN A knife with a truly stunning pattern, both in the blade and in the handle. The handle material was chosen to match the vertical orientation of the pattern in the steel of the blade. The steel of the blade is mirror polished Damasteel in the pattern Hugin, with a full flat zero grind resulting in a blade with a very sharp edge. The handle is fashioned from absolutely gorgeous stabilized Curly Maple that has been attacked by the Ambrosia beetle. The pattern of the blade continues around the full tang of the handle. Total length: Approx. 28,5 cm Blade length: Approx 18,5 cm Blade hight (at heel): 4,5 cm Steel: 2.5 mm thick Damasteel* in the pattern Hugin. Made in Söderfors, Sweden. Blade profile: Full flat zero grind with small secondary edge bevel. Edge angle: 16 degress Hardness: 63 HRC Handle material: Stabilized curly Ambrosia Maple.
