It’s all about uniqueness – what best brings out your character through functional art?

Sean Alonzo is a Filipino designer, knifemaker, and metal sculptor.
Balete Blades is his way of creatively expressing his studies in making fine, fully functional, one-of-a-kind kitchen cutlery.
As a designer, my goal is to make something unique, highly functional, and beautiful.
As an artist though, it’s more about character. Taking inspiration from what makes us unique – our ideals and identity – and translating them into something that’s beautiful, and valuable.

It’s my pleasure to bring your dream knives to reality, mixing high-performance materials & design with the relevance & beauty of art. I look forward to making you one hell of a beautiful piece!
