Meet the DCI knife maker - Dimitri Turcott
Why are you a knife maker/what is your driving force.
- The design, execution and finishing of a seemingly simple object gives me great satisfaction. Making an object from raw materials fascinates me. Steel alloys, traditional techniques, wood and plastics, the hardening and tempering of steel, all very interesting to me.
Your best advice for making a high-performance kitchen knife.
